Video: Optimising carbon capture for refineries

Researcher Eirini Skylogianni from TNO takes you on a tour of TNO's CO₂ Capture Miniplant in this new video from the REALISE CCUS project.

The Miniplant, which will soon make its way to the Irving Oil Whitegate Refinery in Cork, Ireland, will be used to demonstrate and study CO₂ capture at pilot scale using a novel solvent.

Conducting the test campaign on-site with real flue gas will provide valuable data for optimising and managing the selected solvent, preparing it for large-scale use  by refineries and other industrial facilities.
