The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway's largest university. Its Environmental Engineering and Reactor Technology (EEART) group in the Department of Chemical Engineering has more than 20 years of experience with CO2 capture from natural gas and flue gases, as well as substantial expertise in solvent development, characterisation and management. It has played an active role in many national and international projects, including the EU’s iCap, HiPerCap, OCTAVIUS, CESAR, CASTOR, CLEO and ALIGN-CCUS, while its absorption laboratories are part of ECCSEL.
