University College Cork

University College Cork (UCC) is one of Ireland’s leading research institutions with a strong track record of participating in, and leading, EU-funded projects. Its contribution will be delivered through the Cleaner Production Promotion Unit, based in its School of Engineering and Environmental Research Institute, building on its experience in social acceptability of energy infrastructure. The unit’s research focuses on Society, Sustainability and Energy, employing novel sociological and anthropological methods to large-scale research projects in energy, the built environment, and industrial processes.
