Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) is Italy’s biggest engineering university. It is participating through its Group of Energy Conversion Systems (GECOS) in the Department of Energy. GECOS investigates advanced energy conversion systems for power generation and industrial processes and has a focus on carbon capture technologies, including assessing the integration of advanced separation technologies (mainly solvents, sorbents and membranes) in power and industrial plants. It has and is participating in several EU projects including CONVERGE, CEMPCAP, STEPWISE and CLEANKER.
